Your Wedding is a very special time and should reflect your personal preferences and choices.  I believe in making every day special and every ceremony personal and special.  Formal or casual weddings and ceremonies are an important turning point and landmark in our life and our families.

A personal commitment celebration that is uniquely you will be remembered and cherished all your life. I encourage couples to write their own vows or choose from a variety of selections that are unique. Special music, Poems and readings adds to the Love that is already present and creates an atmosphere of celebration.

Creative Weddings and Ceremonies in nature, homes, gardens, Chapels, B & B’s, Wineries or Sanctuaries can be formal or casual. “As You Like It” 

Enjoy preparing for your wedding by allowing plenty of time to plan and implement your plans.  Also remember to continue to plan time with your partner and talk about your future plans for the next year as well as your future together. Your wedding is the beginning of your life together as a married couple; enjoy preparing for the wedding together.  If you need assistance ask for help from family and friends or find a wedding planner. This will relieve stress knowing you are not doing all the work of planning and implementing by yourself.

 Formal Sanctuary or Chapel

 * A Special Memorable Ceremony 35 to 55 minutes

 * Bride and Groom, Bridesmaids, Groomsman

                   and Two to Six attendants plus ring barer and flower girl.  

 *Choice of Vows

 * Special poems, readings or music

 * Rose or Candle Ceremony

                * A family joining with jewelry, roses or candles

Formal or Casual Garden, Winery, B & B’s

            * A Special Memorable Ceremony 20 to 35 minutes

                 * Bride and Groom, Bridesmaids, Groomsman

                          two to six attendants plus ring barer and flower girl

 *Choice of Vows    

 *A family joining with roses or jewelry                

 * Special Poems, readings or music

            * Rose or Candle Ceremony

*A family joining with jewelry, roses, or candles

Formal or Casual At Interfaith Wedding Chapel

 * A Special Memorable Ceremony 15 to 25 minutes

 * Bride and Groom, Bridesmaids, Groomsman

 *Choice of Vows

                * A family joining with jewelry, roses or candles

 Short and Sweet

                The Minimum Basic Ceremony

                A Special Memorable Ceremony 10 to 15 minute

                         * Bride and Groom and two witnesses

 Minister for Ceremony at Interfaith Center or within Columbia,

 Includes a 55 minute consulting visit at Interfaith Center office.                                     So you can choose your unique ceremony and meaningful vows

                           or write your own.  “As You Like It”

                    For out of town email or telephone is acceptable.

 *** Important requirements and information:

*Remember Marriage License must be presented to the Minister before the

   ceremony can take place. Be sure to bring it or we will have to wait until someone       

   goes to get it.

* Missouri requires a 3 day waiting or for an additional fee this may be 

   waived

* A wedding License may be from any county in Missouri.

* I am willing to travel to unusual locations. At a lake, river, river bluff.  someone’s

   home. For a reasonable fee to cover mileage and time.

           A Deposit of $75 reserves the Date and Time.

                 All fees are due two weeks before the wedding Date.

T he minister does not act as Wedding Coordinator or Planner.

Rehearsal by special arrangement.

Interfaith Wedding Chapel

Is located at 4006 West Broadway, Columbia MO 65203

The Chapel is ideal for intimate weddings or up to 60 guests.

Reception needs to be held at another location.
